Jack and Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, have donated ff 10 million to COR (Community Organized Relief Efforts), a coronavirus-testing company co-founded by CN Penn.

The grant, through Dorsey’s #startsmal initiative, will allow CORI to open free COVID-19 testing sites in rural as well as additional major metro areas across the USS

COR has operated a dozen Covid-19 test sites across California in the past five weeks and says it has completed 100,000 free tests. The agency’s test sites are already in operation in Atlanta and Detroit, and it will soon launch additional sites in New Orleans and Navajo Nation. Founded by Penn and Ann Lee, CORT focuses on providing services to low-income groups and castes, as well as vulnerable and underprivileged communities, including first responders and required staff.

Last month, Darcy announced he would donate 1 1 billion of his equity to charities in the square, launching the Covid-19 relief effort. Among other reasons, Dorsey is with the Rihanna Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) about grants for victims of domestic violence in Los Angeles, and with the Rihanna Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) about community-based organizations in Detroit and Flint.

“In our 10-year fundraising effort, we have expressed concern about promoting the greater social responsibility of big brands and corporations, excluding leaders such as Benefits and Parkers,” Anne Lee, co-founder and CEO of the core, said in a statement. “Jack Dorsey is on the other side of the coin – the path to corporate sustainability – a human-driven visionary that we should all support to ensure that his forward-thinking, just and compassionate model paves the way for a new era.” “

Dorsey commented, “The core is the driving force for good. It’s not just what they’re doing, it’s how they’re doing it that enhances our testing ability. This country and the world need this moment to work as a model for the open source system and others.”

The COR, led by Mayor Eric Garasti’s office and the Los Angeles Fire Department, was launched March 30 by L.A. Launches its first free drive-through COVID-19 testing site. COR now operates a dozen test sites across California, including Malibu, Oakland, Bakersfield, and Napa County, under the direction of the Governor’s News Office and with the support of the Rockefeller Foundation and in partnership with World Central Kitchen, Birdwell and Direct Relief. The organization’s first site outside of California opened on April 30 in Atlanta with the support of Mayor Bottoms Office, Fulton County and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.
