Twitter’s Jack Dorsey donates M 10M to Shane Penn’s COVID-19 testing organization – Variety

Jack and Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, have donated ff 10 million to COR (Community Organized Relief Efforts), a coronavirus-testing company co-founded by CN Penn.

The grant, through Dorsey’s #startsmal initiative, will allow CORI to open free COVID-19 testing sites in rural as well as additional major metro areas across the USS

COR has operated a dozen Covid-19 test sites across California in the past five weeks and says it has completed 100,000 free tests. The agency’s test sites are already in operation in Atlanta and Detroit, and it will soon launch additional sites in New Orleans and Navajo Nation. Founded by Penn and Ann Lee, CORT focuses on providing services to low-income groups and castes, as well as vulnerable and underprivileged communities, including first responders and required staff.
