Concordia Studios has appointed industry veteran Alexa Platt as its chief operating officer to oversee all operational, financial and legal aspects of the company’s business.

Platt recently served as chief financial officer of Sony Pictures-based financing and production company 2.0 Entertainment, led by studio veteran Doug Belgrade. The film follows miracles as a group of teenagers explore a magical cave that presents a wish for those who dare to enter. Instead of their dreams coming true, the teenagers harass the rest of an ancient monster who terrorizes this community.

The story focuses on an African-American senior – portrayed by Keith Stone – at a New England liberal arts college, where he jumps into questions of identity and political accuracy.
