Wet Feet returns this year with their second great single, ‘Wet Dreams’

2 min read

It rarely happens that a new band releases two songs and they are both great, but this is what happened in the case of the new British duo Wet Leg, who only dropped the second song “Wet Dream”.

Ryan Tisdale and Hester Chambers – from the Isle of Wight and signed to Indie Powerhouse Domino Records, and have rocked Alt World with their first single and video “Chase Longu”, which has 3 million streams and one million video views.

Tisdale says “Wet Dream,” new song: “Wet Dream is a breakup song; it happened when one of my exes went to a stage to text me when we told him ‘he had a dream about me’.

The video, directed by Tisdale, is something else, with the two of them and their band slowly realizing that they have lobsters on hand while eating lobster. The highlight is when Tisdale grabs her fingernails and says clearly (to those who fall on their lips), “I’m a fucking lobster!”

As if the video and group name weren’t strong enough to indicate where they were coming from, check out their original story:

“Ryan Tisdale and Hester Chambers found themselves at the top of the Ferris Wheel – in a foggy scene on a rare island on the south coast of England – in their hometown of the Isle of Wight.

“They decided to start a band. The band’s name is Wet Leg.

“Equipping themselves with the guitar, the fascination with French disco, the bright imagination and a shared love of The Ronets and Jane Birkin, through Tie Segal and Bjork, they started making some recordings of their own.”

The duo also announced their first US show. Tickets are on sale this Friday, October 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
